Our mahogany StandUp Bed looks like ordinary furniture, but assists those who need help transferring from bed to wheelchair, scooter, or walker.
The touch of a button can gently and safely take an individual from the horizontal, resting position to a full, standing position in under a minute. With our bed, many who now require assistance, will be able to get in and out of bed alone, or with minimal caregiver assistance. This will greatly reduce the incidences of stress and injury caused by pulling, jerking, and tugging that is necessary with traditional transfer.
Our bed also provides the added benefit of less stress and injury for caregivers, who are often family members.
